Who Are We?
The International League of Muslim Women-PA (TILMW-PA), Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit women’s organization grounded in Islamic tenets throughout the United States and abroad that utilizes collective resources to promote empowerment through philanthropy and humanitarian work; service, and volunteerism; and educational research and development that will enable individuals and families alike, to see opportunities instead of obstacles in the enrichment of their world.
The Vision
To be a model Muslim women’s organization that empowers women in becoming better leaders by enhancing their individual lives, their families, and communities through the implementation of core initiatives.
Objectives
- To promote the need for awareness and understanding of diverse communities
- To promote unity, by collaborating with like organizations, in the promotion of positive community development
- To provide services to the marginalized segment of communities
- To engage in interfaith dialogue and programs to foster better understanding
- To implement positive educational and social programs for the youth
